Press Release
17th April, 2020.
It is common knowledge that the Ministry of Public Health has recommended several measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, which includes guidelines for social distancing and reduced working hours for staff.
As a result, the Parliament Office will be operating with a few essential staff from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday to conduct essential services only.
Please note that the Clerk of the National Assembly is reachable via email sherlockeisaacs@gmail.com at any other time.
We trust that all non-essential workers in Guyana would remain at home and that all of our citizens would follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization for the safety of all Guyanese.
